Every child deserves the joy of owning their own books, but for many students in underserved and Title 1 schools across New York City, building a home library feels out of reach. We’re changing that. Our goal is to provide 12 full classroom sets to schools in need, so hundreds of NYC children can choose a book and call it their own.
Research shows that children with access to books at home do better in school, develop a love of reading, and have greater opportunities for success throughout life. Just one additional book at home can make a meaningful difference in a child’s reading achievement

We’ll collect and deliver your donated books directly to NYC classrooms

Students get to take a book home and grow their very own library
- 30 students receive 3 books each. Teacher receives a 10-book set. 100 books per classroom = 1,200 total classroom books across the campaign.
