How it works
Reach out
Fill out our short inquiry form or email us. Tell us your school's needs, grade levels, and budget.
We build a proposal
We'll send a custom proposal within 48 hours with program options, pricing, and funding suggestions.
Lock in the details
We handle vendor paperwork, PO processing, and scheduling. As a DOE approved vendor, we're already in the system.
We show up
SOCW arrives ready — books, programming, energy, and purpose. Your students will feel it.
Budget & funding
Ways schools fund SOCW programs
We've worked with Title I coordinators, PTA boards, and corporate sponsors to structure programming that works within your existing budget.
Title I Funds
Our literacy programs qualify as supplemental educational services. We can help you document program alignment for Title I reporting.
PTA / School Budget
Many PTAs fund SOCW book fairs and author events as enrichment programming. We provide all invoicing documentation needed.
Corporate Sponsorship
We connect schools with corporate partners seeking MWBE-certified, community-impact programming to sponsor.
Grants
We're a registered nonprofit-adjacent vendor, making us compatible with many literacy-focused grant programs available to NYC schools.
Classroom Crowdfunding
We've worked with teachers using DonorsChoose and other classroom funding platforms to bring SOCW books and programming in.
